Última Milla is a last-mile delivery web application for customers in Ecuador. Built on React, Material UI and Redux Toolkit, it offers real-time tracking of delivery requests on an interactive map.

Key contributions:

• Integrated SEO best practices — semantic markup, meta tags and content optimisation — to grow organic reach and increase the application’s user base.
• Profiled the React application and removed performance bottlenecks: optimised render cycles, normalised Redux state, and reduced unnecessary network calls — resulting in a noticeably smoother experience for end users.
• Diagnosed and resolved a backlog of UI and integration bugs, hardening reliability across the delivery flow.
• Worked closely with the backend team to align API contracts and ensure consistent state between client and server.

The end result was a faster, more discoverable and more reliable delivery experience for customers across Ecuador.
